Spring has sprung and it’s time to get on the bikes! After last year’s resounding success we are ready to kick off the 2022 season of “You Can Ride Two”!
Led by paediatric physiotherapist, Sue Lawton, this exciting 7-week learn-to-ride clinic is designed to teach kids 8 years old and up how to ride a two-wheeled bike. If your child has been unsuccessful in learning to ride due to coordination challenges, anxiety, or other disability, this may be the perfect opportunity for them!!
We break down the task of riding into a step-by-step process and use learning strategies to help every child succeed in gaining new skills. Every rider has a 1-to-1 volunteer to support them. Our team of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers help to make learning fun! Learning in a peer environment is highly motivating for the kids!
Pre-course bike fitting and assessment: Tuesday May 3,
Clinic: Tuesday evenings May 17 – Jun 21, 6-7 pm and 7-8 pm.
Where: Rothesay High School Parking Lot
If you have a child who may benefit from this program, would like to volunteer, or would like to learn more, please contact Sue Lawton by email: susan.lawton@archstonephysio.com
